Your pictures must be too big, at least that is the problem I have had in the past. You might try posting only one picture and see if that works.

Marty Strode: You sure cranked out one beaut of a car. That wheels up shot is just plain poetry in motion. The color really pops in that shot.

Thanks Bowie, all I did was the chassis and cage, the owner Lonnie Gilbertson has a long history of building and meticulously finishing his cars, and this one is no exception.

Here's a shot of a long lost 55 Chevy that was a SoCal favorite during the mid 1960's into 1970's. Anyone have more information on it's history. Dick M

I don't think the Jones & Johnson '55 was ever "lost". It's full story can be read in Hot Rod Deluxe May 2014 issue. It is a very cool old survivior.

I like the straight axle look better but the a arm looks good as well.
Can this style still be drivable down the highway ?
Curious as I love the look but it would be driven with the family a lot.

While the straight axle look is the preferred, keep in mind that the gasser class evolved out of street-driven cars. A-arms were the original gasser configured cars to hit the strip! As the class evolved, the desire to lighten the front end lead to the use of straight axles. If you have a GOOD front-end man do the work A-arms are just as driveble as straight axles!

That is a real nice car. Just checked out the add on CL. 327,4 spd, nicely detailed car and a rust free body to begin with.
