There is a gorgeous gold 55 Customized here. It used to be fairly common until the Holy-Cult of 55-57-Chevvies-Must-be-Stock took over

You may be joking but I think that's why I and others are afraid to show or tell as much as we would have a few years ago.
I haven't seen any updates or good news about any of the cars reported missing here. I googled our place here and where we bought. It is scary what can be found. In fact I know more about the neighbors where we are moving, yet have never been, than our neigbors here.

  5. Yep you can tell there are a number of vehicles and that's about it. the street view is a old file picture.

  6. What me worry? Any one driving down the HWY at my corner can see more than google earth shows. Ive got a fence locked gate . Yappy dogs, Mean biteing honking noisy geese. And last but not least a very stinky billy goat with big horns. and the Curmudgeon who resides here carry,s a ruger Blackhawk 44 everyplace he goes. deadly shot with a laser sight.

  13. I probably would just show up cause that's how I am. Animals like me and I haven't been shot with a 44 yet. :D

And to get back on topic, I don't have a '55 right now. But, I turn 55 next year, so that is one of my goals. If not there's always a '56 a year later.

  20. Well Ed I hate to say this publicly but I like that five five. The stance is perfect and while blue is not my favorite color it looks right on your car.

CASH?? You know the old saying---Rusty parts will get you thru times of no cash better than cash will get you thru times of no rusty parts. I'm pretty sure thats how it goes :)

  22. There is only one thing a stock tri five is good for and that's modifying. ;)

Well not exactly but close enough for a hot rod site. :D :D

  23. Believe it or not I don't want any more stuff. The first step to reducing the hoard is to quit acquiring more. Im mentally in full on reduction mode .I never bought any project parts & projects last year. Only thing I bought was chain link fence a 2 cyl Wisconsin engine. and a set of six lug 16 inch split rims. Sold a dozen vehicles and lots of parts. Im keeping my 55 & 56 chevy stuff. I sold two 57 chev 4 door parts cars for $200 each last month.

I was 55 once. Then I retired and got old! It's still better than what could have happened.
