Need a drop axle for a 1955 Chevy 3100 and talked to Sid. Said he's not buying cores anymore, trying to slow down. Not doing exchange on axles, only building what you ship in so either wait or buy outright for another $200 so $600 plus shipping.

I'm usually pretty good at tracking down parts online but I can't seem to find anyone that makes a dropped axle for my truck besides Sid. Did find several for the first series 55 but not second. Anyone know of somewhere selling them?

  2. I picked up an aftermarket dropped axle on marketplace
Have not used it yet. But it’s heavy.
Brothers, speedway and one other place sold em

    Anson still drops em.
Maybe someone here has the contact.

Did talk to Greg at Anson. Apparently they moved to Georgia about 5 years ago but he kept the California phone number. Shipping between Oregon and Georgia makes it pretty expensive. Am going to follow up with Sid and get one from them. They're in Guthrie Oklahoma, my last name's Guthrie so guess that's a sign.
