After seeing yours I am glad mine was from Ohio,if mine would of sat outside and been driven after 68 it would of not been worth fixing. Mine sat in a garage since 68 and I think it did not move any from 68 to the early 80s when I got my dad to drive it some after fixing the leak in the trans. Jeff

Hey Nitro, Now that you got a little practice.....want to start on my Fairlane???

I'm really looking forward to seeing this thing painted. I thought it looked slick BEFORE the scary pictures with the cancer.

not taking the trim off to paint? did you just prime around them?

  18. Thanks Man.

Do you have any pictures of yours?

  19. I CANT WAIT to get this thing in paint!
What are your plans with yours?

  20. I taped off the side trim, Tail lights and the grill.
And yes... I had my balls busted by my pals...
It all needs to come off before paint...
At first i just wanted to do a minor cosmetic facelift...
and went way head deep into the rust repairs,
and at some pont... I got lazy:D

Although she is learning at a pretty quick rate when my much better half the saw the pic of your face when you pulled the rocker off she asked the perfect "I'm still learning" question... Does it smell bad? Got to love her. Bad ass car though. Minus the rust I wish my rides looked that good. Congrats!

Glad I wasn't the only one gettin' antsy:D.

  27. Ran into a few snags... ( A few runs in the paint... That turned into color sanding...right through the paint on the cowl area...)

She's back home and now the fun stuff...putting it back together.

    Heres a teaser shot!
    Enjoy! :D
