Up for sale is a beautiful 1955 F-100. This is a frame off build. Every nut and bolt has been replaced on this truck. Fenders, running boards, bed, tailgate and roll pans all new, not repaired. Cab mounts were the only repairs done on the body.
The drivetrain consists of a strong running 1965 289 v8, mild cam, with C4 automatic trans and Lokar shifter (which, by the way, is the shorter shifter in the pics. I didn't like the tall one). A 95 Mustang 8.8 rear provides the rear disc brakes. Front end is original drop axle and leaf springs because I couldnt bear to cut it up to install an IFS. Disc conversion done up front, and a CPP master cylinder with booster is in the stock location under the floor. Power steering conversion has been done, with an Ididit chrome steering column and 1964 Galaxy steering wheel.. American Autowire harness is hidden from view, and runs inside the frame. Everything works as it should.
The 15" wheels and sides of the steering wheel were painted a heavy gold metalflake with tons of clear, and really glisten in the sunlight. Brand new wide whites were provided by Diamondback. Metalflake gold vinyl was used for all the piping in the upholstery to tie the gold accents together. The interior was done in an oyster colored vinyl, diamond s***ched and pleated by Beachbum Jim Upholstery.
The windshield is original, all other gl*** is new, and doors are power windows. The bed is red oak, stained light to not overpower the color of the paint. There are 7 coats of Marine varnish on the boards. Magnaflow stainless mufflers provide the tone.
The truck runs well, and looks beautiful. There are 335 miles on the truck that I put on it myself. There are a few small things to be done that I havent gotten around to:

    1) Needs a new door lock installed (I have it, just haven't done it).
    2) All window weatherstrips are done except the bottom sweeps. (again, I have them)
    3) The paint is very nice, but was never buffed. Most people dont care, but it could gain points if you wanted to show the truck.
    4) Front end alignment was done by eye with a tape measure. It rides smooth down the road and don't pull either way at all, but I'd have it checked by someone familiar with drop axle suspension if I were to keep it.
    5) 289 engines don't put out a lot of vacuum. The truck brakes well, but I'd put a vacuum pump on the booster if I were to keep it.
    6) The truck has no heat or A/C, but I do have the compressor brackets. I was going to go with an all in one unit, but never got it done. I didnt really need it, the cowl vent works good. I do have the original heater if that's the route you want to take.

The truck is priced very fairly for what it is. You could never build it for this price. Take care of the small items above, and you'd easily have a 30,000 dollar show truck. Nothing about this truck is misrepresented, and there are several members here that can vouch for it. I can be reached by text at 843-241-5..0..9..1. I dont answer calls from numbers I dont know, so if you call, please leave a message.
