Any of you fellas have purchase history / use on mid 50's Ford PU with a OHV 6 cylinder 6 Volt - 12 Volt conversion kits ?

Any Brand or company you use ?

    Happy with ?
    Not happy with ?

I've looked on Google and see a few companies offering kits out there - was looking for some feedback from any of you might have / your experience.

    Thanks

Kits? You just need a 12 v generator and regulator, and of course change 6v light bulbs and use the reducer for the gauges

  4. RockAuto has rebuilt 12V generators for the 223 engine at $38.99 (AC Delco brand). Bought one last month, part number is 334-1001.
