After my initial plan to use the clips that attach with nuts for all my side trim I have given it second thoughts. Realizing that once the window regulators and gl*** is in they will be very hard to access. In fact, I guess doors would have to be gutted. So now I am back to using original clips. But I am confused by the one at the very front of the doors. Carpenter shows it to be #BSA-7021066-C, which I have. However if you ;look at the picture in their catalog it would appear to have at least one stud with a nut, which are not in the Carpenter bag. I do not see how this could work. I do not recall what the original ones were and don't have any that resemble the Carpenter clips. Can anyone educate me on these?

The question is how often do you think you will need to access them. In reality, probably never unless you plan a repaint.

In my 54 I used clips with nuts when I put on new side trim. I was able to access the studs with out any major problems, side gl*** and regulators in place.

Thanks for the responses, I am pretty sure that there are several spots in my Sunliner that will be inaccessible. I am just thinking about the possibility of trim damage and replacement. I do realize that I may never need to remove trim, but someone may in the future. Brodie I have the clips and the picture showing the placement of clips although that one does not show a stud/bolt in the 1066-C like Carpenter does.
