    Hello peeps!

I'm new to this forum. Current build I'm doing right now is a 1955 Plymouth Savoy. The customer of mine had me take over project at the "fun" part. Lol

Car originally had the straight 6, he installed a small block Chevy 350 using a mount kit purchased from "Butch's Cool Stuff". Install was done clean, but as you might have guested....center link is hitting oil pan. With oil pan removed, steering installed and wheels on the ground, center link just barely touches oil pickup screen. Customer does want power steering and prefers rack and pinion.

I did come across a kit from Fatman Fabrications that used a caviler rack, but kit only works up to '53. They told me their kit wouldn't work and the caviler rack is a little light duty for the size of the '55. Flaming River also had nothing for me.

Any help with a solution for this will be greatly appreciated, I'm at a wall here.
    Thanks in advance.
