History 1956 Cadillac quad headlight

I was surfing the web the other day and came across a few quad head light 56 Cadillac s .apparently they made atleast 3 of them and man they look cool!
Does anyone recognize the head light bezel off another car or is that a one off deal? hear is the link to the sight and thats were I Swype s the pics from

I don't think those are 56s.

 

Those are 56's all day. . That black one has 57 dagmiers pluss some other trick ****..they were concept cars.

 

I have seen a '57 Pontiac Starchief with quad headlights. Apparently GM was trying styling exercises on numerous division cars. I'm sure that those bezels are one offs from the styling studio craftsmen. Quad head lights were banned by the Feds until late 1957

There were several manufacturers of quad H/L conversions sold at the Pep Boys type stores to update your 56 model of many makes.

 

I found this link for a 56 concept car https://www.rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=927603 Not the same as the ones in the photos though.

Perhaps the white one is not a factory quad headlight
