Just a small little update, not to much progress with the holidays. I was able to finish up some metal work on the body. I welded in the spare tire tub and seam sealed all my joints. Hope to make some progress on the body work in the next month. Only bad news I came across was that my doors are junk, after sandblasting they have more in holes in them then swiss cheese. I now will have something to look for at the swap meets....

Love these cars. We've had several and wish I still had 'em!! I think the '56 is the prettiest of all the tri-fives, any body style you want!

Its been a few weeks since I've posted any updates so I figured I post some pictures. A few weeks back I was looking on craigslist and I found 2 very nice doors. The ones I had were ok, but these looked very nice. After I got them home, I took the grinder to them, they had a few small spots on the door both and the other needs a few other patches. I also have the body in the first stages of body work, I hope to be spraying some high build primer in the next few weeks to start blocking. I did get the patches installed in the drivers door today, plus I had some help with the clean up.

Happy Day before Easter, I been a little busy with work so I have not been able to make much progress on the wagon. I was able to take Good Friday off and get the body in 2 coats of high build primer. I would say the body is about 90% ready to lay some paint. I did pick up a 67 camaro last week that once I complete will help pay for the wagon. So the wagon might slow down alot more due to changing focus to the camaro. You have to pay for these projects somehow:). Have a safe Easter everyone, and safe travels.

  7. You have made a lot of progress in the last 6 months and the wagon is really shaping up.

It's a shame you have to stop working on the wagon but I know what you mean,,gotta generate some extra cash to pay the bills. HRP
