The Firestone Continental: This 1956 is a really nice and unique car that is in great shape. It is painted a really Dark Blue with very fine mist metallic paint and features, like the a/c air scoops on the tops of the rear fenders that flow into 4 headliner vents, and the Continental kit style deck lid that screams vintage class and luxury. It has a very nice chrome front grill, and the large bumpers look great with lower bumpers painted body color. They were designed to resemble each other but instead of the lights the front has, in back is where the exhaust exits. It really is a stunning car with a unique style that is a great driver. It rides on factory rims with later model Continental wire hubcaps that are wrapped with wide white wall tires. Interior seats appear to be the original blue and white leather, with black carpet that has been replaced to match the trunk carpet color. with 77,650 miles it runs very good and mileage may be original. Rare factory air conditioning works with modern a/c compressor. This is a car that draws attention wherever it goes, with some minor changes the car can easily be brought back to its original glory. According to some of the online information, the original owner is said to be Leonard Kimball Firestone (Firestone Tire Company) and is on the 56-57 Continental Registry. Proceeds from the sale of this car will be going toward a small local church for a remodel. Thanks for reading Jim (559) 280-1321
