I finally got back to working on my Vic. I had a problem with the hood/grille fitment. Found the problem. The grille was bent. I took it off and I find that the P.O. has done a bad job on this car. I see a lot of bodywork on the front fenders and even a piece cut off on the p*** side where the grille attaches. I still have the problem with the "flimsy, wobbly hood". It really flexes a lot when it's going up?

I have a pretty nice extra complete front end off a '56 custom. I wonder if there are differences in the custom and Victoria front ends? I know that the fenders will have to be drilled to accept the Victoria fender trim, but is this the only difference? Will the Victoria hood ornament bolt up? Getting ready to pull the front doghouse to install a 302/AOD. Thanks for your help. Joe.

All the sheetmetal should be the same. The only things that are different as far as I know are the front valance and the a arm splash pans on 6 cylinder cars.
