I am with the stock grill and no quad head lights groupe, or other grille but no quad head lights

  2. That looks like a Briz bumper. Another fun fact is that picture is in the CW Moss parking lot.

  3. I kinda dig that bumper

Ohmygosh!! Lloyd's truck!! I have not seen this since 1979! He used to be really good friends with my buddy's Dad way back when.

  8. Great idea. What diameter are the lenses?

  9. Not sure. I think they are 5.75.

Looks like about 1969 Freightliner from a quick search?

CD853DD1-6EE9-4283-B955-8338D4BBFC01.png I bought some 1961 Studebaker Lark headlight bezels. Supposed to be here today. I found them NOS. They have a parking light attached. If it works, great….if not, tin snips.

  15. "I like the general idea of where you're headed". - - And then I went into a long post of my personal opinion as to how and why. Then I highlighted most of it and hit Delete. Some of you know I have more than one 53 F-100 and love them. My affaire started back in 1964 with them (Thank you Ronnie Loomis) and I have owned at least one consistently every since. I'm still here and will just sit tight and keep my keyboard in Neutral. Carry on.

  16. Balance and symmetry is what it takes for each person to say I like it or they don't. The photo above shows circles, angles, strait lines and arc's. Tying them all together in a pleasing final picture is a tough job and a signature of a true artist and craftsman. Not doing that makes people say hmm and becomes just another one of them.

  17. Can you photoshop the 55-car grill in between the headlight bezels?

I think the 55 grille is too wide to go between.

UPS just dropped off the headlight assemblies and bezels. It was cool that they came in the original Studebaker boxes. I love NOS stuff.

I think those headlight would look great with the front fender bottoms tucked in. I've seen a lot of those trucks with that modification and it looks great -- don't know how much work is involved -- plus this one's already painted!

I haven't had a chance to mess with my new treasures. I am trying to finish up the last room on a year long house renovation. Hoping to be done tomorrow. Then the fun can begin.
