For sale: 1956 Ford F100 Custom Cab short bed pickup. This is a pretty original 56 with one outside respray of the original Meadow Mist Green. I bought this truck about 4 years ago as a stocker and spent a few years going through it, lowering it, and making a mild custom out of it. It has a rebuilt 223 with factory overdrive which works great. Dropped original axle, Posie springs front and rear with modified rear spring hangers and extended Y shackles. I put a 9” out back with 3.73 gears. It cruises great. New radiator, all new shocks, custom made tie rod and drag link, front axle moved forward 1.5” to center in wheel well. All new brakes, king pins, tie rod ends, etc. everything in the running gear has been gone though except the transmission which works great. Rebuilt steering box. Truck runs and drives great. I had the stock seat redone in stock custom cab pattern, along with door and kick panels, and a new headliner and steering wheel. Original gas tank professionally cleaned and sealed. All new fuel and brake lines. Lots of chrome- running boards, interior pieces, inner fenders, rechromed grill, 50 Merc tail lights, bumpers, and lots of little parts I scoured for. Brand new 6.70 and 8.20 15” Firestone’s on original wheels with Merc caps. I did put some patch panels on the floors, and the truck has some mild rust that you could fix or leave like I did. Roof is MINT. Truck has a ton of character, which is what I like most. Doors and windows operate like they should, new fuzzies and runners. All lights and electrical works- gauges, dome light, heater, turn signals. I love this truck but have been kicking around the idea to sell it for a while. Truck is located in a Spokane WA. I have a lot of new/spare parts for it that are included, including a new oak bed floor kit and stainless straps and bolts. I planned to put a Y block V8 in it, I have the correct bellhousing and a new V8 radiator that can go with it as well if wanted. Registered and insured in my name. Asking $25,000.00. I’m sure I’m forgetting something, please DM or you can call me for more info at 509-869-0266. I have a build thread on here if you want to check it out, it goes into detail everything I’ve done since I bought it. Thanks!
