Hello everyone Thanks for reading this ad.
I am selling this 1956 Ford Victoria, car is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Price is 13500 US dollars / Aprox I8,350 Canadian Dollars. OBO
This 56 was in exceptional condition and the best candidate for a restore / mild custom that I have ever started with. I have been a bodyman and restoring cl***ics for over 45 yrs and this is one of very few 56 Fords that I have seen that did not require floor panels, trunk floor etc. I did replace the rocker panels but floors and trunk are original.
Prior to starting this build I wet blasted the entire car inside and out, cleaned immediately and sprayed the whole car inside and out with epoxy primer. This makes for a very clean build and allowed me to see every nook and cranny that needed work. Please see the pictures attached.
Currently the inside and trunk area has been painted and the engine compartment has been painted as well with a color that is called Cool Vanilla and is found on some Chrysler vehicles the 300’s etc. I had chosen this color for its vintage hue and look. I have gone through the body once to rough it in and did a few minor patches to the lower quarters and lower fender areas, one door, these areas where not bad at all as you can see in the pictures of the parts with epoxy primer. Most notably and for the mild custom look I was building I have completed the fabrication and install of a 1959 T-bird front bumper ***embly. In the pictures you will see an orange Ford with a 1959 T-bird bumper, this one was built by one of Boyd Cottington’s fabricators and is a look I loved and always wanted to do. As mentioned that fabrication is done now and was hours and hours of work to get that perfect factory look. The underside of the car has been painted (Blk).
A few details about this car:
1972 351 Cleveland (only 6k on motor, 30 over, flat tops, mild cam (not lumpy) very strong runner, Weiand X-celerator intake, Holley 600 carb, new distributor with Pertronix . C6 with 1800 high stall and shift kit, Ford 9" with 3.5 gearing (diff has been serviced and gone through). All brakes are new (drums), new fuel tank and sending unit, car is lowered 3", Chev power rack and pinion, tilt steering (key still in dash), complete new wire harness (currently installation is almost complete) Again please see pictures and ask any question you may have. The car will come with a set of 59 Turnpike Cruiser skirts!
I have all the side trim and all new rubbers for the doors, t/lid, w/s and back gl*** etc. A lot of money spent on all these rubber components. The seats are 70s T-bird and are in great condition Fronts and rears). I have all the interior garnish moldings, visors and I also have 56 Ford door trim panels, ¼ panel interior panels and back package tray cover. These are for mock ups and patterns to make new ones. I do not have the carpet of headliner as I was still undecided on the colors for those. I also have the vent windows, door gl*** and hardware, and ¼ gl*** and regulators. The back gl*** is in good condition as is the w/s. (w/s may have one tiny stone bruise) I also recall a edge chip on one of the side gl***es but would have to confirm what one it is.
When looking at this ad, pictures and price please consider the original condition and also the work that has been completed to date. When I originally bought this car I paid up for it due to its solid starting point condition, It wasn’t something that sat in a field for years. In its current state of build it would not take a person a long time to finish this car and have it on the road by summer.
Pictures are in random order as its impossible for me to get them to show up in the order that I would have liked to have them in.
The 1956 Ford Victoria is one of my very favorite cars as it has the lowest roofline of all the 55-56 fords and just looks sleek and fantastic.
The car will come with a bill of sale as well as a T.O.D. (Transfer of Ownership Do***ent) similar to a US ***le that proves vehicle ownership.
Please ask any questions you may have and please feel free to share. I do have many more pics I just cannot upload all of them.
