Technical 1956 Mercury Monterey horn fuse ???

    I have a Question. Does the 56 Mercury have a horn fuse???

    No horn fuse. On ‘54-‘56 Mecrurys, the horn relay pulls power from the hot side of the starter relay. Check your horn relay and switch on the steering wheel. The horns themselves usually do not fail.

    Horns fail, but the contacts on the*****on and where it turns on the steering wheel, and those in the relay, also fail. Typically you'll have to fix from two to four different problems to get an old horn working right.
