READ THIS!- The car has a "reconstructed" title. It was bought without a title or a frame. Texas Highway Patrol/DPS crawled all over it, gave it a clean bill of health, and assigned a RECONSTRUCTED title to it. WHY? I don't know. But what I DO know is this-it is a legitimate, bona fide title issued by the great state of Texas, and if you think that affects the value or the legitimacy of the car, you can go take a flying leap and keep on looking. OK-now on to the good stuff. Car has a 327/2004R, 605 steering box, p.s., power disc brakes, tilt wheel, van column, Ciadella interior, Daytona carpet. Wheels are a little too big for the mods to love, but imagine if you can (in my best Twilight Zone voice) polished 5 spoke Americans. Aluminum intake and radiator, Edelbrock carb, ex manifolds, bread and butter simple under the hood. Vinatage Air, new glass and weather stripping, the lift gate was professionally squared and trued. WW motor hasn't been used since 2000, so it is stuck. Like you were going drive in rain, right? All the interior garnishes are chrome. Car drives ok, but it would prefer 15 inch tires. Was a frame-off build begun in 2000. Always been in Texas we're told. Has only spent 4 days outside overnight since 2000.Has 8k miles on the build. Willing to do a deal on a decent driver and cash. I do not want a show car. 47-54 AD, 48-56 F-1, 57 Ranchero, 59-60 El Camino or a tri 5 Chevy wagon are my first choices. Coupes and hardtops preferred on cars. No motorcycles, no Model A's (I already have one), and no clear coated rust buckets posing as patina queens. Might consider a project, but not a puzzle you can't put back together. I have a 327/700r4 and a 351C/C4, so lack of drivetrain on you part doesn't have to be an issue on mine. Text me at 806-454-0690 or send me a convo if you want to talk. I'm going to be pretty picky, but don't let that keep you from asking. We've all heard the word "no" before and lived through it. I also have a 57 and a 55 Chevy so except for a wagon or pickups, no go. Some non HAMB friendly cars considered.
