I'm looking for a home for my '56 Olds 98 coupe. It's got a mid '70's Camaro front clip & matching '80 Trans Am Posi disc-brake rear end (3.08). The rear end has been cleaned up, new pads & e-brake cables & is sitting on the stock leaf springs with 2" blocks. The front end has been cleaned up, has new steering links/ends, 2" drop springs & new rotors. The engine is a 1968 Olds 455. The heads were re-done before I got it (maybe 17 years ago) & it ran fine. I painted the block & added a few shiny pc's, shorty headers & an Offy dual-quad manifold. Transmission is a 700R4. The interior is all stock & the front seats badly need to be redone. This is a factory power window car & they all work. There is no rust inside the vehicle, the floor still has red oxide primer all over it. All the edges of the doors & trunk lid are smooth & rust free. Inside the trunk has a little surface rust, that's all. Only the leading edge of both quarters in front of the rear wheels have rust (see pic's). I have installed a later steering column with shifter & tilt without a key hole. The fuel tank has been cleaned & sealed & reinstalled with a new sender. I have an aluminum radiator & a Ron Francis wiring harness for it, all in the trunk. This is still a "some assembly required" car. You will need to finish it yourself. Let me know if your interested.
