I need help I have been trying to find 2'' drop spindle for my 56 Olds and i haven't had a lot of luck. Does anyone know if 56 Chevy spindles will work?

Don't think that will be a bolt-on. Comletely different suspensions. Easy way is to cut the front coils a little.

I believe your '56 Olds is still the King Pin style spindle mount......not the ball joint type. That being the case, what you are looking for is dropped "spindle supports". That is the verticle piece that ties the upper an lower "A" arms together ....and on which there is a 'boss' for the spindle.

On dropped versions, the boss is moved upward on the verticle support, thereby dropping the front of the car. It is exactly the same principle as "dropped spindes", there are just more parts involved.

Fatman Fabrications is one place, there may be others, that is likely to have what you want. They have advertised dropped spindle supports for years.

Received the Nov Rod & Custom in the post today & in the Rod Shop section is a piece on the 2" dropped spindle for 56 Olds from Fatman Fabrications. Their website is www.fatmanfab.com.
    Hope this helps.
Good luck from a fellow 56 Olds owner.
