Technical 1956 Plymouth trans upgrade (270 Poly)

    Anybody know if there are 3 speed or better transmissions that will bolt up to 56 Poly block? Or a line on an early torqueflite.

    Contact TRWaters and/or 73RR here on the HAMB. They both are knowledgable about the earlier Mopar engines and transmissions.

    what Hnstray said,,,,,and join the 55/56 mopar guys here on the HAMB......and FYI - the early Poly motor/318 - had a different crank in it so late stuff doesn't bolt in....need a 63/64 up 318 to run the later bolt in stuff.....

    Has same bell pattern as the 392, so.......
