1st Post, already asking for help.

The upper nuts by the Turn Signal Indicators…how did you remove them with the dash backing plate in the way? Nut Driver is not a straight shot.
I have a 3/8” angle open end and the backing case of the Pod also gets in the way.

    How did you do it?

    Have you tried a socket with a U-joint ?
Failing that, bend a Open End.

    Yes!
I pulled the Dash. Not much of a mechanic, I could not get at the upper nuts. Perhaps I should have kept going with the spring extention and deep socket.
Dash needs a new garnish rubber , good time to change it out.
1956 2 Door Parklane Wagon, nicknamed Frank. AKA Frankenstein.
End the controversy, are the Fuel and Water Gauge 12 or 6 volt?

  7. Ford products in 1956 used 12 volt gauges.
