Hot Rods 1956 pontiac turn signal switch removal?

    Hey guys how did you remove the indicator switch on a 56 pontiac? I have the wheel off and the next piece behind it loose but I can't move it far enough forward to get to the switch. Thanks for your help.

    I really doubt it's the same as a Chevy, since in the 1950s, Buicks were well built cars!

    Take pictures, so we can see what you can see. It's a big help.

    I figured it out last night. Its similar to the chevy. you have to pull the wiring harness up thru the column with the switch. Fortunately I was able to pull it up just enough to disassemble the switch and clean the contacts. Now the turn signals are turn signaling again. Thanks
