20220721_210521.jpg The better half wanted to take a few days and we went to New Hampshire for a few days to visit a friend and see a couple of sights. We saw the Shaker Village and took the cog railway up Mt. Washington. The last night we went to dinner in a local restaurant and had a great meal, as we were
leaving she noticed that they had a hallway with a display of old magazines, advertisements, etc
for sale. I looked quickly at the automotive ads, but saw nothing I wanted when she said look at this.
She pulled out a 1956 Rod Builder, I thought it was just the cover but she said no it was complete.
    She even paid for it.

Nice find, Jet. I have two issues of Rod Builder & Customizer, pretty good Little books. One has an article that uses the needle nosed roadster as part of the heading.

I knew I was on the right track when our first date she asked me to a demolition derby.

Interesting the article on the cover about the most popular rod in the USA claimed that the 1939 ford had
surpassed the model A/ 32 Ford.
The article on the small block chevy said to overbore and stroke it to 306 inches, this in 1956.
