    Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
    I'm looking for a 1957 Chevy 4GC Rochester carb as a core and/or parts. It doesn't have to be a "working" carb. Thanks. PM what you have.

    I think it fits fine. Do you know if it's a "small-base" 4G, or one of the big units? I have spent a lot of time and effort to find a matching set of "small-base" 4G;s. They're out there, but you have to be diligent. At least, you don't have to fight the "Corvette guys" (most of them were WCFB''s).

    All Chevrolet V8s used the larger bolt pattern.

    For whatever reason, my PM doesn't want to go through. I've got a 4GC from a '58 283. It has the same appearance as the '57.

    The Rock Auto cheat sheet says that 55/58 are the same carb.
