    Hi all,
currently restoring a 1960 F100, this truck i bought from a deceased estate and wad half perhaps restored, anyway as we move along there are parts missing, most i have found for sale but the one i can not find is the pitman arm. i got one off an F600 which fits the steering box but the taper in the bottom is much bigger and im not sure if the length is different, i now have the opportunity to buy a 1959 F250 whis is complete but very bad body. wondering if any tech heads here can tell me if the F250 pitman arm is the same or different to an F100 ????????

I went and dug into a parts catalog. The steering box, center link, tie rod ends, and king pins are all the same between the F100 and F250. I mention those parts specifically because they are the only parts still available new and therefore still listed in the parts lookup.

In my opinion, since the steering box and all of the steering linkage are the same, it's a pretty safe bet that the pitman arm is too.
