Hi Guy’s
I was just after some front end geometry measurements’ for my 66r that I’m doing. At some stage of it’s life in ffice:smarttags" /><?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com[IMG]Kansas the left front had broken off and when welded back in it was not done properly. So now I’m at the point where I need to get it spot on but all the info I have like manuals and some Buick websites dose not give me the info I’m after. If anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated.
ffice:eek:ffice" />
I mainly need the angle of the top bushes and the height at the front of the bush and the back of the bush from their mounting point’s.

Thanks Heaps.

5. You can't figure it out from measuring the other side?

7. It looks like it might have a '58 shock setup. We sold a '57 a while back that came with the left front spindle cut off so I parted a '58 to make it a roller. The '57 shock was mounted inside the spring, or between it and the spindle. The '58 shock was on the rear of the lower A-arm with a bracket like you have on the frame behind. I was able to make it a roller with the complete '58 A-arm and spindle set but I had to cut a bunch of metal out of the frame to make it work, and the upper mount was just a tad longer, I had a hell of a time getting bolts through both holes. I'm sure a guy in a shop could do it so it would be drivable, but we were just interested in making a roller and the buyer only wanted it for convertible parts.

The lower '57 A-arm should be like the upper, sort of fabricated looking with two bars coming out to the ball joint, where the '58 is like it's stamped from thick plate.
