Although I fear being beat up for saying this but I kind of dig it. Its got some crazy 60's over the top build going and I think it could end up neat. If I had a free rusted out car and and wanted to practice my welding skills I would totally have some fun like this.
Worst thing I've seen done to a '57 Caddy since that godawful PayLess Shoes commercial where they crush a red Coupe deVille.
Did he not know what the car was suppose to look like? All kidding aside, style as well as art is in the eye of the one that created it. I don't find this "modification" or "alteration" appealing and it appears that others don't as well. I for one, like to see modifications that adjust the orginal body lines but also stay true to the original style or makers intent. This Caddahack does neither --WD
The world would have been better off if the poor thing was parted out to save other Cadillacs. I don't like the word hate very much, but I think I hate the rat rod piece of shit it has become.
You are correct, it could have been a great car to test welding skills on. Unfortuneletly that thing is held together with bailing wire and bubble gum, lol Chuck
WOW!!! What can I say? Chuck it would take a little more then bailing wire and bubble gum just to keep those monster bumpers and grille on that thing!LOL
You've been on this board since '08 and you couldn't guess how it would be received? The only thing that car is missing is some flames... And I don't mean a paint job, I mean set it on fire. It could only be an improvement.
some people get bothered by what others think, this post was put up knowing the response it would get on THIS site. humorous and funny
Anyone one can fuck one up, I think that one was fucked down or sideways, I takes a real man to do that.
This is one I did you guys might like it a lil more?... Tape was on the moldings I was doing a little buffing before it went home
