1957 Cadillac Hubcap Photo Thread....

...Nope, not ashamed at all....Second on my list of favorite Wheel treatments is the '57 Caddy Hubcap....I even ran a '70 Catalina lowered with wide whites and '57 Caddy Hubcaps as late as 1980...I love the look...How many others love that cap? Let's see them...!

I had some on my '57 Cadillac. drdave ran some with chrome bullets in the center on his 64 Catalina ragtop 20-plus years ago.

Drdave's 64 Pontiac STILL has 57 Caddy caps with bullet centers on it. Here's it is in the late 80's before I added the bullets.

Hey Arkie, when you gonna put that set I gave you on the Nomad? I think that would look cool....although the rake is all wrong for those caps.

 

I have a bunch hangin on the wall, even some in my living room. But none have made it onto the car just yet. My fav by far.

 

How about '58/'59 Caddy caps on a '57 Caddy...........just trying to be different

I think they look great on kustoms... I like them better with bullets in the center.

 

I bought a set on Ebay for my 50 shoebox and they turned out to be 56s. Where the hell can you find a wheel deep enough to fit those? They are currently shop wall pieces.

 

one of my favorite caps-- especially like to see well done bullets / centers. i have an NOS set of these in my garage, waiting for the right project someday.

57 Caddy hubcaps make me like any car they are on.

 

I don't have a pic, but does anyone know who machined the aluminum wheels for Rick Dores gold Merc that was at Santa Maria? They were designed to look like a '57 cad wheel cover but was gone very well.

 

Colorado Customs offers them I believe.

i was pretty lucky, my 57cad had a near perfect set on it. theyre my dads favourite too.
when he finished his chopped '50 project last year, i gave him a pair to finish it off.

 

In the sixtys I though 57 caddy's never came with cub caps ,only fords and chevy's had that kind of caps
