Great running truck that is very original. I have driven all over Dallas Fort Worth area, to Austin twice for LoneStar Roundup. It can sit for weeks and fire right up, and stops on a dime. You won't find a more original truck that you can drive today, nothing has been cut or replaced on this truck. There is only one small rust spot on the whole truck. I have owned the car for 10 years, the person I purchased the truck from had owned the truck since the late 1970's. I have a notebook with receipts back to 38,000 miles from the 1970s. The truck has the original owners manual and original pay-off note from 1957 when purchased. The previous owner , a pilot, kept all records of the maintenance and mileage, I continued the same. Have all receipts since 1979 for the truck, including mileage and inspection stickers. Has about 70K miles original. The speedometer stopped working (plastic gear that drives speedo in the transmission broke) at about 66K, I estimate I have put 3k on since. The receipts show the mileage history from 1978. Truck came with many options: - Large window - Deluxe heater - Spare located under bed - Rear view mirror, AM Radio, Side mirror, and Throttle control for PTO. All original to the truck. - Factory turn signals Paint 1970s paint job was completed by previous owner, original Tartan Turquoise is visible in chips. Has a mural on the front of the hood that is totally 70s. The tailgate has a great color on it. Barely any rust on it, hasn't slept out side since the 1980s. I never drive in rain. Engine 235 original engine, has never been out of the truck. Transmission 3 Speed original, 3 on the tree. First gear is not synchronized. Bed Has the original wood in the bed, never replaced or covered. I have a bed cover that I use to protect it. Recent work: - Brake shoes, Drums turned, master cylinder, all wheel cylinders. - Painless wiring harness. - Carb rebuilt. - HEI distributor (have the original, it was worn out.) - Exhaust. - Rebuilt original starter - Power master generator style alternator upgrade, have the original. - Rebuilt original rear end, upgraded to 3.73 gears to allow 50+ MPH with lower RPM. Has the original radio, that worked until last year. I have a contact who can repair. Has original headliner still in great shape, Cold Start, Walkaround while running and short drive videos can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/@BelAirTownsman
