I'd run it. I wouldnt pay much for it but, what the heck.
Give it to your "new driver" kid and tell him to buy hissown next time.

  6. I guess its alright but still looks like homemade fuck to me. But hats off to those who spent time making it look like that, because it does kinda fit.

I've never liked that body style Nova...but i do like 57's..
Maybe i've found a Nova i could accept?..
    Hmmm....maybe not :)
I do give credit to whoever did all that work...Although i can't see anything close up, it dosn't look half as bad as some of the "ratrods" or "shockrods" i've seen built and i'd probably rather drive this thing than one of them.

I've got the '57 with the Nova nose and quarters on it, thought it was a much better idea.

The leading edge of the hood needs to come down more, and the grille needs to be reworked. Also, the front fender openings need to sweep back to better flow with the rears. If you did those things, then really paid attention to the bodywork and painted it, I could see it.

Not a traditional rod, but I think it has the potential to be interesting beyond just abortion shock value. Red with Cragars on it, I could see it.

  20. Both, half on one side, half on the other.

  21. No it's not - they both suck. What the hell is wrong with people, if you want a 57, or a shoebox buy one!
As bad as the 40 Ford grilles for VW's !

Hot Rod Don is right on target. You want a Nova, get a Nova, want a '57, get a '57.

reminds me of all those chevs that boyd and foose did in the 90's chezoom, those "nomad" abortions....
dosen't look horrible though, a little time spent on details and it might look ok.
like the others were saying looks alot like a promod body...
