Got ya . That needs to be cut out and re welded or make a new one using that as your templet. Shouldn't be complicated to do. If you can lay down some welds take a shot at it.

Okay so I pulled the busted door off, and the damage is not as bad as I thought, but still pretty shitty. Do you think pounding it down and getting it proffesionaly welded would make it last?

Heres some progress shots I took today today, Ive done a lot more, but not really picture worthy stuff....

Door frames primar'd and ready for paint.

Back window is back in, with new rubber. It was a pain in the ass.

Ass shot. Still runs and drives great! Cant say as much about stopping it!

    Interior is almost done....

I still need to get the hinge plates welded. Hopefully I'll get that taken care of this weekend!

Taylor, forgive me if im wrong, but it looks like your window rubber is on backwards. In picture 4 ( the inside shot) it looks like the window locking rubber is hanging down. In picture 2 ( the outside shot) your rubber is smooth. You might want to double check that it is on correctly. I have a big window and the locking rubber is on the outside. You can get the locking rubber in chrome too.

Thats what my dad was sayin, haha. I thought it looked better with the smooth part on the outside, plus I had already started putting it in and didnt wanna re-do it. I dont think it will hurt anything. And ya the chrome is pretty cool, but not $12 more cool.

Some stuff that got done yesterday....

Door frame/step box finsihed, all the little holes are patched.

Passenger door, sanded, primared, and ready for paint.

I took off the shitty 70's truck mirror that was too small and got the right one. I also got outer rear view mirrors. Speaker box is polished up and put back in...

And lastly I grabbed this from my beer tap collection and re-threaded it. It rules!

Haha, ya shiny! Right now the upper dash is bare metal. I need to find some blue metallic spray paint (does that even exsist?) so I can paint the inner door panels and the dash. Im off to home depot...
