'57 Continental 78,000 mi. 368 engine ,PS, PB, PW, auto. 3sp trans. AC (non working). I acquired this rare car after it had been sitting in a garage for years from the previous owners grand daughter after his passing. Garage find. The body is straight and solid no rust. Floors and frame solid no issues. It has been repainted once (non professional) has some chips,etc. Interior shows some wear. To get it running and driving. Fuel tank and lines were drained and cleaned .Carb cleaned. New coil and solenoid .Change oil. Started right up does not smoke some lifter noise still need to adjust them some this weekend. Brakes gone through cleaned and added some new line and new wheel cylinders. Only about 3000 Continentals were ever mfg. by the Continental division of Ford Motors in 1956 -1957 before production stopped in May of 57. This car is one of 444 produced in 1957. They were largely hand assembled, a Car that only the wealthy and famous could afford at around 10,000. Elvis had a white one like this one.
