1957 desoto cam

hi, does anyone know who can grind a 1957 desoto 345 hp cam or has one for sale? i tried two grinders, one took for ever and gave me a cam with the wrong specs. the other also ground a cam with the wrong specs. i would appreciate any help.thanks

 

Send 73rr a pm on here, Garry of Q.E.C. He regound the cam for my 331 Chrysler years ago and is vary knowledgable of all things hemi.

Grinding our cams since 1970, very easy to deal with, hundreds of master etc.

 

Do you have the 'spec's' for a 345 profile? If so, how much did the offered grinds vary?
Is there a real need to have an exact match? This is a good example of where close is, quite often, good enough. Neither you, nor you engine, will recogonize a slight variation in lift, duration, overlap or any of the valve opening events. Additionally, the current crop of available profiles (from any of the available sources) will easily provide a grind that is similar and do what you need it to do, without being spot-on.
Post the specs you want, or send them in a pm, and lets see what options are available.
