New guy to cars/trucks but not to old stuff. I have a 57' D100 that I've started doing some work to. My plans are to modernize the drive train a little so that I can make it a daily driver if I want but keep it stock looking and retain the straight 6 flathead. I already have a t5, adapter plate w/clutch, 8.8 rear end, front disc conversion, fibergl*** rear fenders and rust free fronts. Got a lot of work to do on the grill yet and learning as I go. Motor/trans, sheet metal and drive train currently off the truck.
Welcome, those 57's are neat old trucks. Look up moparjoel here, he's got one that's he's been building for a while. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Welcome! Im glad to see another 57 D100 on here. Mine is also my Daily driver. If you have any questions feel free to ask. You might want to look over on this thread here: 48-60 Dodge Truck Thread for any info or advice, its the unofficial "Hangout" for all us 50's Dodge truck owners on the Hamb. Feel free to post some progress photos of your 57. Welcome again and enjoy the many tools of the HAMB.
