1957 Mercury Monterey 2 door hardtop. This is another of the cars from the 93 vehicle Homer Stewart estate. It looks to be all original. It was last driven in 1967. With all the cars to deal with in the estate I just have not had any time at all to work on this one. So it sits just as we pulled it from storage. The body, doors, door sils, hood, truck lid etc all are solid. All the original glass is there. The windshield does have a crack. I haven't found the keys to the trunk yet but looking in from behind the back seat it also looks solid. The floor pans behind the front seat are rusted through on both sides. The pans under the rear seat are solid. We have a clear title in hand. According to the data plate this one has the optional V8. It is an automatic with the push button trans.
