Oh cool. Yeah, I kinda did the same thing, but I cut into the dash. Worked out great.

I'm about to start on my 55 3600 2nd. series long bed.
I've purchased a 1988 silverado 4x4 for the frame swap.
I can only hope that mine looks as nice as yours. I too will b doing all the work.
