Super rare 1957 Oberhausen D-500 “Dragster” Supercharger with original manuals, dealer brochures, demonstrator kit, and more. this supercharger can be used on ANY engine with a 4v manifold. It requires no pulleys or belts. But it also includes killer Ford Y-block Oberhausen “Dragster” valve covers. This is an electric supercharger that runs on a Ford starter motor to give your V8 about 30 seconds of moderate exhilaration. It surely did not live up to its grossly overstated performance billing but it’s basically just a tripower until you activate the starter and supercharger. I do have three carbs, all the risers, and the supercharger is complete. The homemade tripower plate is flat stock and could be made better but otherwise it’s killer and super rare, especially with ALL of the documentation. It’s probably the only complete set of documentation and blower and valve covers. $3200 plus the ride or pick up in Indianapolis.
