My dad found bought this car 3 years ago and drove it around since. It's just the way he found it,But he was getting bored with it.I was at the York NSRA meet in June and found some 5 spoke mags in a 5" bolt pattern. They really changed the look of the whole car. What do you think.

Here's a before and after shot.

I have a black 98 2 door hardtop w/Cragers, so I love the look. Now I just have to get it back on the road.

Looks great, but I prefer two tone paint on 50's cars...

great car! it still amazes me how much a wheel/tire combo can change the whole look of the car, you nailed it, but there are some that just can't seem to get it right, no matter how hard they try.

Any '57 Olds (or Buick, or Pontiac) is gonna look better without skirts; they just look to ponderous with them. The mags look terrific with the blackwalls and black paint on your car; gives it an aggressive look.

I also like the before pic. With the new wheels it looks like the beginnings of a Gasser. That car is too clean and original for that look. As clean as that car seems, its crying out for some Wide Whites and Buick Wires! .02

It looks great both ways and the cool thing is that if he has the steelies, caps and skirts in the garage it can have a personality change in an hour anytime the mood strikes.

Dad had a solid black 57 88 4 door hardtop with a J-2 all through my teenage years. I have a special place in my heart for those cars.

That looks great! Suddenly it's 1965 when almost everybody was putting five-spokes on everything! Best part is that they're old wheels.
