Technical 1957 PONTIAC

I JUST GOT 1957 4 DOOR 347 CI 3 SPEED MANUAL WANT TO CHANGE TO A AUTOMATIC . I WAS TOLD 57 WAS A ONE YEAR ONLY TRANY. LOOKING FOR HELP OR IDEAS THANKS

 

Not trying to be critical but don't do it. Must folks would go from automatic to manual if they had the chance. BTW only real Hot Rods have three pedals.
If you do go through with it you'll have no trouble selling the standard shift set up.
