I have a 58 chevy del-ray, it is a 2 door sedan, when driving this car I am getting a noise coming from the left side of the dash, it sounds like 2 pieces of metal rubbing together, it is a squeak-squeak, I can not find out where it is rubbing, it is driving me crazy, I have a new speedometer cable and housing, I greased the speeometer cable when I installed it, I tightend all the moulding screws, headlight switch is tight, all the dash screws are tight, speaker grille and speaker are tight, any one got any more ideas on what to do? Get a mirror and flashlight and look for a hidden screw or one that is out of sight. Grab the dash and try to move it, see if it makes the noise, if not could be someting else.
