1958 Edsel information needed

Hey, looking at picking up a 1958 Edsel pacer, all original and clean....looking for some help from anyone that has customized one...need info on suspension (like what ford model is it based on?) etc...plus any pics of customized Edsel's preferrably pacers..ive always owned 60 - 65's so a 58 is new grounds any adviced would be greatly appreciated.
