I just recently got a 1958 Studebaker Commander back on the road from sitting since 1983. Enjoy all the videos posted below. There are parts 1 through 14.
A great project. A good friend found a similar '58 Commander in Georgia a few years ago. We hauled it home for his then 16 year old son. He is still driving it after five years. A couple of notes and parts sources. The oil filter is not an after market unit. It was a option. There are some great sources for parts. Studebaker International has lots and lots of NOS and repop parts for many years of Studebakers. Your car looks really solid, so body parts probably are not needed, although SI has them. Check on the Studebaker Drivers Club web site and check out the forum as well. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/forum.php Lots of answers questions you may have on the SDC Forum. Check it out
