    Help!

I have all the parts l, i think, from 15 years ago, but not the instructions.

My son has contacted Scarebird (new owner) but he is no help.

    Anybody have a set?

    Thanks

What do you need to know, it can't be that hard to figure out if you have all the parts. Show us some pictures of the kit and ask your questions, I'm sure someone here can answer them.

Are you needing to know what calipers and rotors, etc. go with this setup?

If so, measure the caliper pin distance on the caliper bracket. That will pin down which generation of GM calipers are required.

Once we know that, we will know the rotor thickness. From that, and the wheel bolt pattern, we can discern what rotor will be needed.

If, and only if they are the same as the current versions, the parts would be from a 1988-1988 (GMT400) C-Series Chevy/GMC 1/2-ton pickup.

No. Trying to find old istallation instructions. Have it all mocked up but seems like it needs spacers on the rotors. Rotors seem like they need to be pushed out a bit. From what we can tell scarebird changed the design, and this might be an earlier kit.

These would have had a bearing spacer that changed the effective diameter of the spindle where both the bearing and seal sit, and the spacing between the inner and outer bearing.

Son bought a kit off Scarebird many years ago for his 55 Olds and sounds like he had the same problem as the OP. He rang and spoke to them but got no help and no sense. His kit came with all the parts needed, rotors, calipers etc , none of which are available here in Australia. Eventually he gave up on Scarebird and had a local fitter/machinist set it up on a spare spindle which he had and make the sleeves and spacers to correct the problems and it's now on his car and working. With Scarebird now with a new owner not much hope of getting any help from them.
