I'm going to be using it to haul cycles, so I can't chop it - I need the inside height. I've always liked the idea of having an emergency vehicle, and I found a few pics of olds ones for inspiration. But right now I'm working on getting it running and just driving it for a while.
Recent picture, after going through tech at Eagle Field last week...picture by GooseNZ (New Zealand HAMB'er):

My Daily driver. reverse mono leafs up front, flipped/c-notched out back. 223, split header, clifford intake, 390 holley, true duals. MAY BE FOR SALE SOON.
Your truck really sits nice !! Finally got my whitewalls for the front and threw the slicks on. Here's a shot of the change.Left passenger side the same but added slick for the heck of it.
Keeping the thread alive - here is mine. Volare front end. Early 80's dodge 1/2 ton rear springs (came with reverse eye) and one leaf removed. Cleaver
I know this is an F100 thread, but.... This really makes me want the 60 F350 I looked at a few weeks back. I might have to go back and take another look.
Here's my '59. I have more pics in my album. This was my Dad,s truck, his uncle bought it brand new and my Dad aquired it in 1969. This was a daily driver until he passed away in 2003. It has been sitting in the shed for 6 years. The engine (223) runs, I put new (used0 tires and wheels on it last weekend. The clutch and brake master cylinders need cleaned out and overhauled. I hope to get some of the holes patched and do a full restore on it in the next couple years.
Nice '57, are you trying to decide if you should go with the hubcaps or not? If so I say go with 'em!
