I would like to upgrade my 59 ford custom to disc breaks. Does anyone know a later modern car that the disc breaks will fit my 59.

  2. There are newer discs that can be swapped, but the newest of them are now 30 years old so it's not like they'll be easy to find. '68-73 full-size Ford will work (but require 15" wheels), and some use Granada/Monarch discs but these don't have the same spindle geometry. There's plenty of kits that use inexpensive, off-the-shelf parts for conversions on your OEM spindles, try Scarebird....

...for one choice. By the time you find a 'vintage' setup, repair/replace some probably scarce parts, swap spindles, and round up/figure out what else you need, you could have a kit installed and probably for roughly the same money...

Its best to stay away from Scarebird. His parts do not fit my Ford properly.
