Heres an update....not to much but its coming together slowly and will be at the cavalcade of customs in cincinnati ohio for the first time out!! Motor will not exactly be how it is in the pic just that I wanted to get it running. I have a crossram and different valve covers with breathers for it....

  19. Wow, there's something I didn't know about Larks, the rear quarters unbolt off the car.
Where did you get the one piece front clip? or did you make it?

Yea alot of people had no clue they unbolted. I had a guy make me the one piece front end out in maryland. He makes the glass studebakers for the salt flats. He gets the fenders from another guy then he makes the front pieces then the hood and I just had him mold it all together. Very happy with the outcome of it. Thanks for the responses!

I got to talk to the original owner of the flintstone flyer and he said if i brought up the car to any shows he would sign the dash and he was very interested in the car which I thought was very cool.

Great car! I like the look of the headers running through the hairpins. You might have to rethink that decision, though, if it lands hard after a wheelie. Can't wait to see it in action.

That is BAD! If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? The dude painting the car looks too young to have THAT much cool inside em'.

haha yea well im actually 24 and my friend and I did all the work i did all the body work and we both did the frame, headers, the floor and pretty much everything else. He painted it and he is also 24...the whole car was all ideas we had. In the beginning we were just going to throw a axle under it and prime it the way it was... Well you see what it ended up being haha

I actually started out with a different car which was a trial and error body but we did use the frame out from under it. I ended up driving to kansas to get another one and using that body which still needed a floor and every panel body worked. The first car was 300 bucks and then the 2nd car ended up being 300 bucks haha I def. didnt start with anything pretty.
