Glad to see a thread of the little OddBall 3 & 4 wheel micro cars ... Just noticed this thread on a google search ... and have been actively looking for a little 300 or 600 basket case for a winter project ... mainly just the body shell ... or a rolling body even better ... What type of modifications do people plan on these little cars ? Not sure the tires/suspension/frames would handle a too large of an engine ... If you wanted a V6 or V8 ... you may have to go with a whole new frame/suspension to handle the power ? I was thinking of upgrading to an electric motor ... to canabalize a golf car electric motor & controller ... regular HP usually around 3-4 HP ... aftermarket that will just bolt on ... up to 10-15 HP ... which could be quite a Hot Rod ... I'd really need a body ... or body & frame with a vin # to get a tittle ... Then do the convertion ... The little cars are only 790# new ... Anyone see a body shell ... or a rolling body shell in Ontario or area ?? I've had a posting on the WANTED on the HAMB here ... Craigslist & Kijiji for the last year looking ...
