If it was me I'd find that "someone" out there that MUST have this and flip it. That way it can be looked after by some mad funeral car enthusiast and you can go find another candidate to chop up with hopefully a few extra $ in your hand. Seems like a win/win
Used to be a guy here around Rockmart GA who bought a solid low mileage '42 Lincoln V-12 hearse, cut the back part of the body off, and made a flatbed truck out of it. Ugly sucker, but he drove it a long time.
Nice car! Good luck with it. Hearses make nice customs in my opinion. Of course the pro-car restoration guys go ape shit if you alter one in any way, and I don't blame them for being offended by all of the goth-rod hearses. I mentioned on a PCS forum that I was going to make a mild custom out of my 57 M-M and I got lots of hate.
