Howdy! Bought a 1960 Cadillac Sedan Deville about a month ago. The body is in decent shape. Interior is present but will need replaced. Chrome is 99% there. Gl*** intact but some cracks. Seals are bad in spots. No motor. No ******. Biggest issue: the motor mounts have been CUT out. I'm told the previous owner put a newer style engine in it. While he was at it, he took out and moved the cross member. He also chopped the sill in front of the radiator. The only parts I don't have, are the motor mounts. I would like to get a crate engine that gets *close* to the specs that the original 390 got. 400+lbs of torque at low-ish RPM. I've read several articles about folks buying a 350 and adding several aftermarket parts that push it over 400lbs of torque. Any words of wisdom appreciated.
