1960 Comet 144cid flexplate

    I need one. Anyone know of a source or have one they would like to sell?

    I am pulling the engine and trans and found my flexplate was cracked. I have been doing searches on google and ebay.

    Maybe someone knows for sure what else crosses over? I know the 144 is shared with engines up to 200 cid, but I am not sure how long the 2 speed Merc-O-Matic was used, poss only with the 144 and the 170.

    Yup falconparts.com comes in very handy for the Comet owner.

    Not sure if the 144 had one, but on 200's there is a reinforcement ring that retains the flexplate under all the bolts. Without it, the flexplate tends to crack around the bolt area. Looks like this:

    well i have a good used one if ya still want it well i have a compleat 144/merc-o if ya want it
